Hunting Season

The Wyoming Archery Pronghorn Hunting season in Area 25 is one of the longest in Wyoming with the season lasting from August 15 through September 30th each year.

Available Species

This is primarily an American Pronghorn archery hunt. Additional game animals that may be encountered are Coyote, Red fox, Swift fox, Badger and Prairie dog.  There is no guarantee you will encounter any of these other species, and if you are interested in hunting some of these, other licenses may be required.

Requirements

Hunter must enter the Wyoming Tag drawing between January to the end of May.  The antelope hunting region is Area 25.  The standard tag & license fee for nonresidents is $340* or $629* for the Special Tag drawing.  The Special Tag draw at $629 gives you a much higher chance of getting drawn the year you want to hunt.

 

Hunters who put in for the draw and don’t get drawn their initial season will have their hunt moved to a following seasons till drawn.

All Pronghorn Archery hunters are required to purchase a Wyoming Archery License for $30* and a Wyoming Conservation Stamp $12*.

 

Hunters born after January 1, 1966, are required to possess a Hunter Safety Card from the state they took the course in.  Minimum age to hunt big game in Wyoming is 12 years old.

Cost to Charity

The wholesale cost and minimum on this hunt is $1,495.  Retail price for this type of hunt can range upwards of $2,500.  Fundraiser keeps any amount over the minimum bid.  Example, your fundraiser sells this hunt at auction for $2,000.  Fundraiser keeps $505 profit and send Charity Safaris $1,495 within 7-10 days after auction is over.

 

Note: Charity may sell up to two (2) of these Wyoming Archery Pronghorn antelope hunting trips during the same auction.  There is no cost to the charity to list this hunt for auction.  If this hunt does not sell, there is zero obligation to the fundraising event.

Due to the fluid nature of international hunting, Charity Safaris reserves the right to revise our program at any time without prior notice. This includes hunts sold at auction where we subsequently determine that the featured outfitter(s) no longer meet our performance standards. In those cases, an alternate hunt of equal or greater value will be substituted as deemed appropriate at that time to ensure a quality hunt for your members. This donation is transferable to a friend or family member within the 60-day redemption period. A minimum of one hunter is required. Additional hunters may be added at current prices.
